Week 21

Theme not important since i didn't stick with it. 

I have way to much stuff on my mind right now. I just can't seem to manage to follow themes right now. A little stressed and in the middle of PCS'ing don't mix.

My hubby being back home, safe and sound. Seeing him with the kids is def. one of my favorite things to watch. <3 We missed him so much.

Theme "Pets/Animals"

We don't have a pet. But my parents have a dog. He is a 10 year old poodle and such a sweetheart. Couldn't ask for a more cuddly and patient dog... 

I still remember picking him up at the age of only 10 weeks.... He was only a hand-full and so so scared....

I didn't stick to the Theme this week because i had a lot of stuff on my mind and my hands... But I still think it is a nice pic. Spring is finally here and i LOVE it

Theme " Childhood Toys"

When my 3 year old daughter was Claire's age she loved playing with "Little People" Well now my youngest daughter loves them by heart. 

This bus is pretty new though. She got it for Christmas from her godmother. All the other little people toys (and there is a lot of it) is back home in England.

Theme "self portrait"

Since i don't like to be in front of the camera i decided on a pic of my oldest daughter. Everybody says she looks like me anyway. So there ya all go...

I wasn't sure what to do this week.

But when Avril Lavigne came on the Radio earlier today I just knew what i had to do... 

I'm sure everyone of you know the song "when you are gone" from Avril? Maybe some of you know the video as well... (it makes me cry my eyes out everytime)

So here is my picture for this week

This is the last Picture that i got to take right before my hubby left.

 Week 7

Theme "Love"

Today is Valentines-day and i got a huge surprise this morning. 

I got a call from my dad at 0800 am, he told me that someone just dropped off flowers for me. I got to pick them up after i dropped Melissa off in Kindergarten... And they are from my hubby. =) I honestly didn't think i would get anything, the last valentines-day he was home with us and nothing happened... lol 

I actually got tears in my eye when i saw them. 

They are so beautiful and even with my stuffed nose i can smell them... Sooooooo pretty.

Week 6

Theme "Breakfast" 

With Valentines-day so close i got me a heart shaped Berliner this morning. Soooo good, filled with Strawberry-jam. 

I wish my hubby would have been here to eat one with me. =( 

Week 5 

Theme "Phobias" 

Where to find a spider when you need one? lol I was really thinking about all the things that I'm scared of... 

The dentist, flying, driving on Snow, that my hubby won't come home, that something terrible happens to my kids..... 

I was already thinking of using a Phobia of a friends that is scared of birds, when she is down town and a pigeon gets to close she will freak... lmao

But when i picked up my sister today I drove by the River, and that's when i knew what picture i would take. 

You will never ever see me swimming in a River, lake or the ocean unless I'm dead. I have to big of an imagination... lol Who knows what is waiting on the bottom of that Lake/River, just waiting for you to get near the water, so it can snap at you and drag you under... yeah i know, i have to stop reading "Anita Blake" lol

But i was always scared of swimming anywhere but a pool. My husband still makes fun of me for not taking boat-rides with him. I will not get into a nutshell that could tip over, throwing me into this scary water.... 

So here is a pic of the River. The "Mosel" Also a piece of home for me. 

 Week 4

Theme "abstract Portait"

I was thinking about what to do here for weeks. I came up with an idea. The feet of my kids, right next to each other sitting on the floor. Well my 15 month old didn't like the idea of sitting still. So after 30 minutes of trying and trying and trying I just gave up. 

When i picked up my oldest from Kindergarten today an other idea hit me. 

So here is what i came up with. 

My oldest on a rainy day with her umbrella that she got from "Uroma" two days ago and her pink rain-boots.

Theme "cold"
Some Icicles on my window. It was really cold that day. I had a hard time getting the ice off my cars windshield. 

My first time in a project like this. I will take one picture per week for a year.
I'm super excited to be a part of this. And who knows maybe i will do the 365 project next year.
As we will be moving from England to Germany in June I just wouldn't have the time for 365.
